Summer Retreats

August 29, 2022 to August 31, 2022 Summer Retreat @ TC

We held a Summer Retreat at Teachers College to launch the project and prepare for implementation. Dr. Irina Lyublinskaya and Dr. Sandra Okita opened with a project overview and key logistics. The VEM team, Laura, Tim, Katie, and Gina, coordinated equipment distribution and setup. Dr. Erica Walker, Dr. Meredith Smart, and Chamarra led a workshop on culturally relevant pedagogy to guide activity design and classroom use. The retreat also included an introduction to Finch coding, led by the VEM team, with hands on practice to build confidence with the technology.
